“Don’t like it as much as I expected to. I think it’s mainly because none of the rival villains is interesting. Ditto for the politics of Gotham. There is little here that isn’t stock. Gordon and Bullock are not as bad but they can’t make up for the ho-hum unsavoriness that takes up much of the screentime.”

“First impression, based on ep 1… Not bad but it feels a bit packed with smack talking and odd characters. The dynamic they create feels more eventful than the likely boredom of their situation. Might have been closer to the reality with a slower pace and bursts of drama, rather than the even pacing, which of course would’ve made it less entertaining.”
