The first question in this Ubisoft customer survey is \u201cWhat is your gender\u201d with \u201cMale\u201d and \u201cFemale\u201d as permitted responses; if you choose \u201cFemale,\u201d you\u2019re dumped into a screen that informs you that \u201cyour profile doesn\u2019t suit the survey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Games companies have got a lot of stick over the years for their failure to understand, cater to, and appreciate their masses of female customers, but it\u2019s a rare thing for a company\u2019s commercial blind-spots to be so vividly illustrated in two screens.<\/p>\n
